Church Leaders Workshop

The Church Leaders Workshop was held at Camp Au Sable in Grayling, MI from April 28-30. The workshop was launched last year in 2022 and the plan is to conduct the training event annually.

85 members attended the workshop and 27 churches were represented. Of the 85 attendees, 50 were deacons/deaconesses and 24 were elders. Spouses and leaders in other areas also took part in the training event. The workshop is designed for elders, deacons, and deaconesses.

In Bob Stewart's second presentation, he addressed church visitations. "Though we focused on the role of elders, deacons, & deaconesses visiting, we also saw it as something the whole church did in the book of Acts."

The Michigan Conference is blessed to have Tom Mejeur and Strong Tower Radio collaborating together to win precious souls. The radio ministry continues to be a difference-maker. There are many new Adventists and soon-to-be Adventists because of this important ministry.
